The Morning after the party
So you may have seen Carl & Chanel’s wedding over on the blog recently. It was pretty damn epic and I loved every second. I was even more delighted to do a ‘Morning After’ connection session for these two love birds. Being a Newcastle Lifestyle Photographer means I get to photographer some cool stuff and this was definitely an awesome session to capture!
I wanted to capture some real moments the morning after the wedding day so I asked Chanel and Carl if they’d be open to the idea. Believe me it took some explaining… I mean when you ask a couple if you can come into their hotel room the next morning it doesn’t really sound too good. After sending some examples they were more than happy to take part and capture some relaxed yet intimate images while the memories of their wedding day were still fresh in their mind.
My sense of humour definitely came into play as we’d finished the session and a couple of their guests had came to say bye… I’d suggested the shoot was a bit more ‘R’ rated! Of course it wasn’t at all, but I couldn’t resist the joke!
