Jean-Pierre & Katy| Pavel & Ula | New York City | Choo Choo Camp Day 1
New York City Portraits
The second week of October seen me jetting off to New York City for a photography workshop set up by the guys at Looks Like Film. Named Choo Choo Camp (long story), the workshop focussed on marketing techniques, SEO, work/life balance, as well as posing, shooting, using light, etc.
I had an absolute blast and I've learned a lot that I'll be slowly putting into place over the next few weeks. It's a long way to go for a workshop, but my reasons were simple - I needed a break from everyday life, and the photographers on offer to teach us were top class. Add to that a bit of soul searching and it was money well spent!
A big thanks to Lukas Piatek, Jacob Loafman and his team for setting this up. Thierry Joubert, Nisha Ravji and Mark Pacura for sharing so much with us! Huge thanks to Jean-Pierre, Katy, Pawel and Ula for being amazing models for the afternoon!!
I've firmly been bitten by the travel bug, and am now taking bookings anywhere in the world. If you'd like to book me to photograph your destination wedding, then please do get in touch!
