Say hello to Stacey & Andrew. What an awesome couple these guys are! They're getting married at The Parlour at Blagdon this September and I can't wait!!

Claire & Tom are an awesome couple, and I'm so glad we got to go through with their engagement session in Newcastle after it looked like we were going to be rained off

Earlier this week around 70 photographers headed to Ambleside in the Lake District for a meet up. The meet-up included photographers from around the country who are all part of the Lookslikefilm community. A community set up by Lukas Piatek that focuses on collaboration and not competition. Something I've been so lucky to be a part of, with a local group of photographers, since I first set up my business.
While I may be based in the North East, I do love to travel! I ventured to London to capture Laura and Gareth's engagement shoot. My previous experiences with London weren't great, however I hadn't been in the big smoke since I was about 15... That's a good 12 years ag
So first off, Summer has been incredibly busy. I've had such an amazing time capturing all my couples amazing weddings and travelling the country to do so! It's mean't my blog has been somewhat neglected but I'll be catching up with entries over the next couple of weeks!
Andrew and Lucy only got in touch a couple of month ago about their wedding at Healey Barn this August! So safe to say, a little last minute! I'm so glad they did too, because Andrew and Lucy are an awesome couple and to be invited to their amazing home to shoot their engagement session was extra special. To meet their family was great and I tell you something, it will be a lot easier for Andrew, Lucy and their gorgeous family when it comes to their wedding day!
Jane and Nev first got in touch back in March about their wedding at The Grand in North Tyneside this August. From the moment I met this awesome couple, I was excited to get them in front of the camera!
Engagement sessions are so important and this is the perfect example to explain why. Even though I go years back with Ash and Scott, they've still never seen me work. They don't know how I operate when it comes to bride and groom portraits on the day.
The second week of October seen me jetting off to New York City for a photography workshop set up by the guys at Looks Like Film. Named Choo Choo Camp (long story), the workshop focussed on marketing techniques, SEO, work/life balance, as well as posing, shooting, using light, etc.
