At the beginning of the wedding season, Healey Barn made me on of their top recommended photographers so it was an absolute pleasure to work alongside Leanne. So earlier this year I ended up as second photographer to the fantastic Helen Russell! This was huge for me, to be asked to help shoot such an amazing venue as Duncombe Park. Duncombe is in Helmsley, North Yorkshire and the place is bloody huge! I guess that's one of the best things about being a Durham Wedding Photographer... Beautiful venues like this are so close and make fantastic settings weddings.

A Beautiful Durham Wedding
Harriet first got in touch earlier this year to say they wanted to book me for August... Initially I thought they were talking about 2015, how wrong I was. Harriet and John wanted an informal day with friends and family, and had decided to get married as soon as possible. We met for a coffee in Durham to discuss their Wedding Photography and it was very apparent straight away that they were very organised and extremely calm. I could also see how much they cared for and loved each other, so I knew it was going to be a very special day.
